Summer Fun
Now that school is out, we've started doing what we do every other summer: look up local hikes on Google and hit the road. This one is up Big Cottonwood Canyon called "Donut Falls." If you look carefully in the next picture you can see the top of the waterfall is pouring down through the rock (hence Donut) and comes out a little bit further down to continue all the way down. People were climbing up to the top to see down into the donut, but we didn't dare attempt it with Greg carrying the baby and very slippery rocks. Over the years it's made a donut hole in the rock. It's lovely. And so interesting. We really enjoy the mountains that surround us and take advantage of them as often as we can.
Later we stopped at a park in SLC to play and stretch out in the grass. I love this baby. She is perfect.
And here's a picture from the wedding that my sister in law took. So cute. Thanks, Julie!
We drove up Provo Canyon to Heber a day or two ago. On the way home, David kept complaining that his stomach hurt. I assumed he needed to go to the bathroom and we told him we'd be home soon. A few minutes later, he threw up. We pulled over to clean him up and all he said was "Oh no. I don't believe it." But as soon as the excitement was over and he was stripped down to his underwear, he was as happy as can be. Felt much better.
I've vowed to have a much more family friendly summer this year. Last year I was pregnant and hot and not in the mood for anything.

Hope your summer is great! Mine better be better as well or I will be a growly bear. Pregnant as well and Niels was in summer school in Logan... wasn't very good at all.
Ha! Ha! Love the nakey boy riding in the car. That is so funny.
